Here we would like to draw your attention to BPS_TRACE transaction code in SAP. As we know it is being used in the SAP BW-PLA (Planning in BW) component which is coming under BW module (Business Warehouse). BPS_TRACE is a transaction code used for Trace for API in SEM-BPS in SAP.
It comes under the package for SEM-BPS: General Functions (UPC). When we execute this transaction code, UPC_TRACE is the normal standard SAP program that is being executed in background. Transaction code BPS_TRACE is included in the SAP component for SAP_BW.
